Titahi Bay Beach House

This renovation project in Titahi Bay, Porirua, New Zealand, was designed to transform an existing dwelling into a modern and functional space for the owners. Our team of architectural designers reconfigured the existing building footprint to create a 3-bedroom home with all the amenities necessary for contemporary living.

The heart of the home is the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, with large glazing and doors that connect to a deck and provide breathtaking views of the beach. Both study spaces are located in the dwelling, providing ample opportunities for working from home, while the main bedroom boasts a luxurious walk-in wardrobe and ensuite.

The project also included raising the floor level of the existing kitchen and laundry space, removing the roof of the lean-to extension to provide added head height, and re-positioning the bedrooms at the back of the dwelling for privacy.

Through careful planning and collaboration with the owners, our team was able to create a revitalized home in Titahi Bay that exceeds the expectations of the owners and showcases our expertise in renovation design.
