Modal Architecture is a residential and commercial architectural design practice working throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand, with studios in Wellington and Auckland, and architectural projects across the North and South Islands. Founded by Sam Hodgson, Founder and Director of Modal Architecture, our practice specialises in new build architecture, bach and holiday home architecture, infill home architecture, renovations and architectural extensions, architectural developments, off site construction and Flexi Panels, and commercial architectural office fit outs. Our architectural design work extends across the Auckland Region, Wellington Region, Kāpiti Coast, Wairarapa, Waikato, Lake Taupō, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Marlborough, Queenstown, Central Otago and Dunedin, including projects in Auckland, Hamilton, Porirua, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Masterton, Carterton, Greytown, Hastings, New Plymouth and Blenheim. We work collaboratively with clients, local councils, planners, engineers, specialist consultants and trusted builders throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand, guiding projects from early architectural design and consenting through detailed design and construction.
